WHAT: Rally in support of remaining defendant facing charges for non-violent
protest against LURC’s decision to rezone the North Woods paving way for
Plum Creek development.
WHY: The Bangor District Attorney dropped the charges opponents of Plum
Creek’s proposed development for Moosehead Lake. The DA is continuing to
pursue charges against Christian Neils. Supporters of Christian will gather
for a support rally on Monday outside of Penobscot County Court House. His
trial is set to begin at 8:30 Monday morning.
